Benjamin Whitrow is a highly respected English actor who has appeared in countless British films and TV shows. After a series of one-off TV appearances in the 1960s and early '70s, Whitrow broke through with recurring roles in the 1978 drama "Armchair Thriller" and the comedic drama "Bognor." On the big screen, Whitrow gained notice for supporting roles in the 1982 thriller "Brimstone & Treacle" and the satire "The New Statesman." Other highlights include a supporting role in the critically-acclaimed 1995 mini-series "Pride and Prejudice " and a role opposite Jeremy Irons in the romance "Damage." In 2009, Whitrow enjoyed a rare starring role in the indie hit "Bomber."
