A century before the events of "Game of Thrones," two unlikely heroes wander Westeros. In an adaption of George R. R. Martin's novella "The Hedge Knight," a young and naive but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg, face a series of dangerous exploits. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and images of the last dragon have not yet passed from living memory, great destinies and powerful foes await these improbable and incomparable friends.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a welcome return to Westeros that works better in the buddy-comedy arena rather than solely slaying its competition.

Audience Says

Way more dopey than GoT, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms offers a refreshing, low stakes return to Westeros anchored by the endearing duo of Egg and Dunk.

By creating a more humane world in a landscape that feels increasingly unmanageable, a story that insists on small acts of goodness is almost radical. Go to Full Review

If you love and miss this seven-kingdomed world, Dunk and Egg make excellent companions for the return. Go to Full Review

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a refreshing reset, leaning into the traditions of chivalric tales, as if these characters had walked out of King Arthur’s world. Go to Full Review

Javan A. @Javanapkins 3h Such a fun watch. Couldn’t recommend more. See more Nadia D @Nadia318 8h For me coming back to the world of George R.R.M was like home I'm in love with this world and i was so excited to see the characters from the books coming alive on screen and i wasn't disappointed they did a great job everything was almost like the book and that is important for us as a ASOIAF fans I'm so excited for the next season we will discover a new places of the realm With my new favorite duo See more Dan D 9h Very good and sticks to the book. See more Paul B @OddBurton 15h I didn't need to see butt nuggets eject from a man's cornhole nor did I need to watch an old man with a 10 inch prosthetic dong peeing for an entire opening scene. Shock value, nothing more. This show just felt "off" in a way I can't really put my finger on but the attempt to "humanize" the characters with what felt like contrived humor fell flat for me. Weirdly off, especially when contrasted with the gratuitous violence we have all come to expect from Westeros. See more Pawleys P @DarganPI 17h Leaves me always wanting more more more. So incredibly good. Dunc and Egg - how will their lives play out? See more Mark G. @viper421007 17h Binge watched it in one night I couldn't get enough great characters and story.
