Tarik Akan

Tarik Akan was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Akan landed roles in various films, including "The Blue Bead" (1974), "Maden" (1978) and "Kanal" (1979). He also appeared in "Suru" (1979), "Yol" (1982) and "Pehlivan" (1984). He continued to act in productions like "Bir Avuo Cennet" (1985), "Kan" (1986) and "Ses" (1986). He also appeared in "Water Also Burns" (1987), the Safy Boutella historical romance "Layla, ma raison/Magnun Layla" (1989) and "Ucuncu Goz" (1989). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in "Berdel" (1990), "Karartma Geceleri" (1990) and "Yolcu" (1993). He also appeared in "The Disintegration" (1994), "Vizontele" (2001) with Yilmaz Erdogan and "Vizontele II" (2004). Akan most recently acted in "Deli deli olma" (2009).
