H Q 03/22/2021 The first 2 great acts certainly make up for the mediocre 3rd act. Just enjoy the trip. See more Art W 4d I went into this one blind on Tubi, which has turned into my favorite place to discover interesting movies that I've never heard of before... So two thumbs up for Tubi as well! Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this flick. Part sci-fi, part horror with some tense spots and a little scary, but not the type of horror that makes you look away, hide your eyes, or cover your head with the blanket. The whole things is a slow-burn psychological thriller about dreams, dreams that are common to all of us. Once discovered, they can be dangerous, or so we think.. however the ending was unpredictable to me. I enjoyed it and if you like a slow burn with solid acting, a decent story and a very cool soundtrack, you should enjoy this one. Centered on dreams and sleep deprivation, Come True questions our epistemic certainty by twisting reality once we are comfortable in the narrative. I really enjoyed thinking about the ideas presented within but I think the film can be enjoyed simply as an unsettling sci-fi movie. The aural ambience provided by an electronic score enhances the experience of the haunting images representing dreams. She meets the four scientists under the command of Dr. Meyer (Christopher Heatherington) and the other volunteers and is accepted in the research. But soon her nightmares affect her life, and she wants to know the purpose of the sleep study. “Come True” is a Canadian horror movie by Anthony Scott Burns with a confused story and screenplay. The plot is developed at a very slow pace and if the viewer closes his eyes, he will certainly take a nap. Sarah is not well developed, and the viewer never learns the reason why her relationship with her mother does not exist. In the end, only the soundtrack is worthy. My vote is three.
