Lt. Fergie Howard (Steve McQueen) teams up with Lt. Beau Gilliam (Jack Mullaney) and Navy scientist Jason Eldridge (Jim Hutton) to turn a supercomputer with missile-tracking capabilities into a tool to predict where a roulette ball will land. They dock in Venice, Italy, and begin making a killing at the casino, but their shore-to-ship signals get misinterpreted as signs of attack by Adm. Fitch (Dean Jagger), putting a serious crimp in the officers' get-rich-quick scheme.

camille l 02/24/2020 The Honeymoon Machine est une petite comédie de casse portée par l'immense Steve McQueen. L'intrigue est médiocre, le casse peu intéressant, les seconds rôles anecdotiques, mais McQueen inonde sa classe de tous les plans et fait bien marcher ses petits camarades, de simples faire-valoirs. Le film ne fait clairement aucun sens, mais chaque soulèvement de sourcil de McQueen l'emmène au dessus d'un vulgaire The Italian Job. De tous les plans, il rend ce film médiocre regardable et extrêmement sympathique. Il faut aussi souligner la belle performance de Birgid Bazlen, la seule à savoir vraiment comment rendre la réplique à McQueen. See more 09/17/2012 Harmless 60's romp, but missing any charm.
