I expected an exciting war movie about a hero, but got a slow story that never found the energy to make its subject matter compelling. It struggled to hold my attention and never became the drama I hoped for. The acting did not help. The performances felt disconnected, with the cast bouncing off one another in ways that worked against the scenes. There was little chemistry, making the movie feel uneven. The screenplay is the biggest problem. It is poorly written and leaves the audience asking questions, but not the kind that build curiosity or make you eager to see what happens next. I kept questioning the choices and wondering why the story was written this way. A war film about a hero should give its characters purpose and make the audience invested in their journey. Land of Wolves never manages that. The pacing, acting, and writing work against the film, leaving it flat and frustrating. I definitely would not recommend it. See more Oliver M @RT98955015 Sep 2, 2026 the acting and writing are bad, the budget is sad, filming locations are awful, special effects look amateurish, everything seems unrealistic, the soldiers make terrible decisions, quiet guns are loud, props seem cheap...it just has the quality of either a decent fan-made film or an almost-ok indie action film. It was the draggy, subpar dialogue (and in some cases acting), in between scenes that were in my opinion genuinely well done. Worst part of all was all those hot sexy men and I didn’t get to see no meat.
