A filler movie that doesn't feel as an important part of the saga, and doesn't do anything different from the rest of the films. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Nathan J. @NathanDirector 3d Rating: 7.2/10 ⭐️ I expected a standard anime movie for Pokémon Day, but was completely blown away by its epic, apocalyptic scale. The Director’s Eye: Alamos Town is beautifully based on Barcelona. Studying how they framed these massive European structures gave me fantastic visual inspiration for capturing the essence of Europe in my upcoming project. As a man of faith, I loved the redemptive core. Darkrai, a misunderstood nightmare creature, sacrifices himself to protect a town that hates him, proving character is defined by actions. Using the soothing lullaby “Orácion” to quell two brawling deities is a powerful, poetic climax. The Cuts: The snobby comic relief completely bogs things down. His transformation into a Lickilicky felt totally out of place during an apocalypse. Also, the early-2000s CGI spatial rifts look incredibly dated against the gorgeous hand-painted backgrounds. Verdict: A visually stunning adventure with a strong message of selfless sacrifice. Favorite Line: “Orácion...a song with the power to soothe the fiercest rage.” See more Stephen C @bob25009 Nov 13 Funny in 1 hour and 40 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A good storyline and a nice entry into the Diamond and Pearl series. The English dub has some stupid idioms and crap, but it's not noticeable. The voice cast also has improved after the transition from 4Kids to TPCi. See more Nick S @NickSpecter 11/26/2023 10th movie of the series and first to use completely computer-drawn ink vs hand-drawn. Based on Barcelona, the movie sets are beautiful and the image is nice and crisp. The legendary Pokémon featured are impressive and the movie has a sense of grandeur. However, it wasn't able to catch much of my attention and overall it was a bit boring and dejavu-ish.
