Mori, whether buried in bad makeup or dropping jaws in a slinky number, turns out to be a fine actress who just happens to be a total knockout. Go to Full Review

Kalissa H @kali_416 19 hrs ago I really liked Amanda as a character! I liked that she didn’t forgive the ex and was a strong character. By the end, it was less about her career and more about her romance, though. It was a little odd that she dressed as Helena and went out to meet Marcelo, but she did want to mess with him. For swearing off men, Helena dated Marcelo quite a bit. Plus, most of the movie I felt that Amanda was way too good for Marcelo who was majorly a player. Overall, I liked the movie and was invested in what happened. See more Alex F @RT42927805 Apr 8, 2026 No tiene una trama que te va a cambiar la vida pero tiene excelente actuacion y direccion. Todas las escenas son muy bellas. Me hace querer conocer a Valparaiso. No me molesto la maquillaje y me gusto el final. Lo reccomiendo si estas buscando una pelicula tranquila. See more Oct 27, 2013 cute Chilean comedy about a woman who is scorned and decides to play a double life to get back at the next gigalo who walks into her life. You can see the movie in Spanish or English though I recommended the Spanish version and just used subtitles if you need the extra help. So bottom line does he get the revenge she does desperately desires or do the tables get turn on her. See more Jul 23, 2009 A cute story, humorous enough to provide some good laughs, but ultimately a story that was, as others have said, a not very original treatment. A beautiful woman is betrayed and swears off men, disguising herself as a frump in order to prevent men from being attracted to her. Meeting the office Lothario at her new job presents her with an opportunity to teach him and by default, all men, a well deserved lesson. The lead actress, Barbara Mori who played three personae, was believably dowdy as Amanda, and ravishingly beautiful as her alter ego, the femme fatale, Helena. The scenery was beautiful and this viewer especially enjoyed some of the establishing shots, that highlighted the texture of the Chilean backdrop. Four stars if not for the disappointingly cliched ending. Because of that, however, only three and a half.
