Don’t get lured in by the preview, you will find yourself trudging through 2.5 hours of Simon Nuchturbs demented, universe where Every man is covered in sweat and every woman is forced to kiss them. Horrible. This director should be beat over the head with his camera. Stay away at all costs. And please don’t suggest at a movie night with people you have just met that night! See more 03/25/2011 This movie really is a mess, but a (barely) enjoyable one. One of the biggest problems with it is that Lance Henriksen--the anti-hero of the piece--has little to do until the end. If, however, you'd like to see Richard Lynch as a sexually promiscuous preacher/mayor, George Kennedy as a crippled former mercenary firing homemade RPGs, William Forsythe as a bike gang leader named "Pig Iron", and Karen Black chewing the scenery before she's crushed by a tank (yes, a tank)--then this is the movie for you. Plus, there's a midget. A motorcycle gang known as the "Savages" cause trouble for the town and Stryker and Tick help fight back.
