Kevin P Feb 3 A hilarious underrated dark comedy and ahead of its time with true crime obsessions and Karen’s. It has a crazy funny premise where a seemingly perfect housewife goes on a Serial killer rampage at the most relatable AND most mundane annoyances of suburban life. It's very funny satire that perfectly parodies and mimics all the music and filmmaking of cheese 90's movies even with everyone praising her killer status like a celebrity. I love the random time intervals like 9:46am or 8:01am. I loved the scene where they make fun of all those dumb court room scenes from 90's movies that make no sense and gotcha comebacks somehow disprove evidence. Kathleen Turner is hilarious and tows the line between crazy and realistic and loving yet petty. Mrs. Puff's actress Mary Jo Catlett is also a riot. It's a fun dark comedy that's faithful to the material it's mocking and made me laugh consistently all the way through. All of the evidence was there even when she was doing something to win the case everyone acted like they didn't see or noticed her—even her kids are as stupid as her.
