This is a sad, kitsch remake of the 1967 movie of the same name that starred Lon Chaney, Jr. The original wasn't good, but it was dark and creepy, and unhinged enough in that late 60's kind of Manson-esque way, that you got some of your jeebies heebied. Sadly, although I was looking forward to a to an equally creepy, but now full color version, even including one of the actresses from the original film, this was not it.
