There was potential for a suspenseful thriller, but the writing repeatedly makes choices that weaken the story. It misses. Brittany Dory, who plays the main character, is my biggest frustration. Her character should have been written as much stronger and more empowering, especially considering everything she goes through. Instead, she is portrayed as weak and fragile. I wanted to see her fight back, take control, and become someone the audience could root for. The twist surrounding the killer was incredibly predictable, leaving almost no suspense. The lack of police involvement was another strange choice. Considering everything happening, you would expect a stronger investigation, yet the police feel almost forgotten until the end. With a stronger lead, better writing, a less predictable mystery, and more police involvement, this could have been a better thriller. It felt like a story written and produced by a high school class project rather than a professional film. The plot was painfully predictable—you could see every twist coming from miles away. The acting was completely over-the-top, making it difficult to take any scene seriously. The makeup looked cheap and distracting, and the editing was all over the place, with random music choices and awkward cuts that made no sense. The biggest problem, though, was the complete lack of emotion. There was no tension, no suspense, no real climax—nothing that made me care about the characters or what happened to them. The movie just drifted from one scene to the next without ever building excitement or delivering a satisfying payoff. Overall, it was a frustrating experience and a complete disappointment.
