Wonderfully acted and stunningly shot in ice-cold black and white, “Two People” shapes chillingly clever details and patient direction into a potent reminder that few things are more dangerous to authoritarianism than tenderness. Go to Full Review

An uneven Euro-art bath of unrealized intimacy and casual violence but is given exquisite tautness by the elegant, unrequited swooniness of stars Zar Amir and Luàna Bajrami. Go to Full Review

Lushly photographed, sensitively acted and delicately balanced between its love, tragedy and satire. Go to Full Review

Fred R. @Fredj 2d I thought it was incredibly clever and new. a beautiful love story In a strange dystopian future. See more Jonathan K @aFIREintheattic Feb 14 Such a cool short film. They drop you into this interesting world they’ve created of a sort of dystopian, not-too-far-off alternate universe where it’s illegal to kiss and the currency is slaps to the face. It’s quirky, but there’s a real sense of place. The world feels lived in. It’s wonderfully shot. Beautifully acted. And the music is so, so good. The score is beautiful, and the tale itself is just as striking. High marks for this one. See more Sedale S. @sedale143 Feb 6 My pick for the Oscar. Such a strong message on just how ridiculous our world can be, and if you think about it, our world is not too far from this dystopia. Such beauty, such tragedy. A perfect example of how a short film can tell a powerful story. See more Yash B @yashbansal Jan 28 "Two People Exchanging Saliva" is a fascinating short film that creates an intriguing and haunting world. I felt engaged by what was presented here and honestly felt a feature-length film of this concept would definitely be something I would be interested in. Overall, it is a good short that is very creative and thought-provoking the whole way through. See more William P. @BillyPeeeee Jan 26 A creative and stylish take on a dystopian near-future where face slaps are currency and kissing is verboten. At its core it’s a love story, albeit a fairly sad one. See more Read all reviews
