Hodge remains a righteous leading man, but the set-up of the new season, with a billionaire being pursued by a merciless killer, is close to boilerplate. Go to Full Review

Aldis Hodge comes back like gangbusters with his definitive take on detective Alex Cross, but the series still can’t figure out to be as killer good as he is. Go to Full Review

The highs and lows of this second season mirror a spindling rollercoaster, one whose mechanisms slowly falter until the wheels come loose, before the whole ride comes crashing down. Go to Full Review

If there's one thing I can say in favor of Cross Season 2, it's that it puts a lot more effort into fleshing out its supporting cast than Season 1 did. Go to Full Review

Josh G @Forgetaboutit 21h What a great acting cast ruined by a woke mess of a script See more Barry M @Ta2dbear 1d Good show so far, but another season of social warrior foolishness. I wish we could go back to just entertaining people instead of making everything an episode of CNN. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 4d Cross returns for a second season that proves just as frustrating as the first. What should be a sharp crime drama instead feels unfocused and strangely flat. The screenplay lacks tension, the humor rarely lands, and the characters never feel convincing as professionals navigating the world of criminal justice. Their arcs drift without direction, and the side plots fail to connect into anything cohesive. Rather than building momentum, the story stalls, searching for weight it never quite finds. Season one was passable but forgettable, hardly strong enough to justify continuation. Season two only reinforces that this series struggles to find its voice, leaving little reason to stay invested beyond simple completionism. Even dramatic turns feel muted, as if the show is hesitant to fully commit to its own stakes. Instead of intensity, viewers are met with repetition, uneven pacing, and storytelling that feels more mechanical than meaningful. See more Justin H @permapug 6d Great show! Just as good as the first season! See more mic D. @0810. Feb 23 This series is amazing See more Ed T @edmenno Feb 23 I'm halfway through as the rest is not available yet. I'm struggling with this if i'm honest. And it seems more of an ensemble affair with Cross being on the margins of events for much of the time. My girlfriend who loved the first series said after S2E4 "it's boring and i'm bored". Personally i find the whole "black people and hispanics are good, rich white men are sex abusing, child slave labour using megalomaniacs" story line really really offensive. See more Read all reviews
