Vanished certainly doesn’t overstay its welcome, and with only four action-packed episodes, there’s no time to get bored or distracted. umberto A @Lucasriver 1d I am writing this review to say a big THANK YOU to the producers, directors and writers of "Vanished". Thank you so much! Your utterly mediocre series saved me a lot of time in the future. A time I will use watching old movies, reading books etc instead of wasting my time with the avalanche of third class tv series which took over tv in the last years. "Vanished" was the last drop. I realised that it's pointless to try "new" series because they all use the same formula and obey the same political agenda. They change actors and locations but the stories are basically the same. The market is over saturated. They are so scared to "offend" that they point all their guns to the only group which they consider fair game: heterosexual men, especially if they are white and middle aged/old. It's tiresome Series such as Mad Men or The Wire, for example, are sumptuous banquets. The Vanished is a stale bread with a cold cup of tea with too much sugar. And no cream. I love Penny from Big Bang Theory but I couldnt stop seeing her as Penny in this. The story line was dumb. In the end there are things that didn't make sense.
