Oct 21 This is a great slasher to watch every year once Thanksgiving comes around the story is great with Terry being the evil twin, but everyone thinking Todd is and then Todd escapes and everyone thinks Todd is killing when it is actually Terry and Terry has to try to blame and frame Todd. The suspense is great and the joke about cranberry sauce is also great and the ending is a good ending for a stand-alone movie that does not need to set anything up or lead into anything and of course the Thanksgiving aspect bumps this up for me. It is a fun slasher to enjoy in November and on Thanksgiving. See more Claudio C @Claudio666 Jun 30 Blood Rage (1987) Amateurish Slasher from the 80’s (11,795 – 29 Jun 2025 – by Claudio Carvalho) In 1974, in Jacksonville, Florida, Maddy (Louise Lasser) is at the drive-in theater with her date and her twin sons Todd and Terry sleeping in the back of the station wagon. When Terry sees her mother kissing her date, he wakes up Todd and they sneak out of the car. Terry picks a hatchet and kills a teenager that is having sex with his girlfriend. Todd becomes catatonic and is accused by Terry of murdering the teenager. He is sent to a psychiatric institution. Ten years later, in Thanksgiving, Todd escapes from the asylum and his Dr. Berman (Marianne Kanter) and her assistant look for him at Shadow Woods gated condominium, where Maddy and Terry live. When Maddy and her fiancé Brad (William Fuller), who owns the condominium, declare that they will get married, Terry’s ferocity awakes. When he learns that Terry has escaped, he murders Brad and begins a crime spree in Shadow Woods with the intention of framing Todd again. “Blood Rage” (1987), also known as “Nightmare in Shadow Woods” and “Slasher”, is an amateurish slasher from the 80’s directed by John Grissmer. Surprisingly, it has become a cult-movie throughout the years. Everything is bad and cheesy in this trash: the storyline; the screenplay; the acting; the cinematography; the lighting. The silly dialogs are ridiculous, like when Terry says “that is not cranberry sauce!”, and the one-dimensional characters exist to be killed only. My vote is three.
