Emma Oct 22, 2026 I thought it was excellent! A great telling and portrayal of Shakespeares classic, sad story. A bit bloody. But those Scots were wild and war is hell. I did think the price was high for a movie (since it was the encore.) But a good price for a really terrific Met Performance! The costumes alone are always gorgeous and worth the price. This was a spectacularly captured performance....this production. is terrific and the singers were among the best for these roles on the planet. I am always gobsmacked at the video direction ---the intiimacy yet authenticity of the close-ups of something being done on a 3000 seat threater.
