Camp Rock 3 is a successful passing of the baton to a new generation. It takes the franchise in a new direction by bringing these musicians together as friends, not just competitors. It leaves you excited to see what this Core 5 could do next. Go to Full Review

Camp Rock 3 may not reinvent the wheel, but it doesn’t really need to. Go to Full Review

The film boasts a group of talented new leads, catchy songs that you can’t stop singing, and an unforgettable cameo. The "villains" are unnecessary, but it is still a fun family movie. Go to Full Review

A girl has N @NoName98 1h As someone who grew up with the original Camp Rock movies, this was incredibly disappointing. The music was the biggest problem. The new songs were forgettable, the cast was heavily autotuned, and they completely butchered "Play My Music." Instead of creating something new, the movie constantly recycled moments from the originals: "Brand New Day," "Play My Music," the "Too Cool" dance, WEML hand gesture, "Don’t Stop the Party," "Fire," the Camp Rock 2 step, "We Rock," and even the "she’s really good" meme. Cliff was basically Geo 2.0. I don't mind nostalgia, but this felt like a collection of references rather than a real sequel. Demi was barely in it and didn't even join the final jam, which was a huge missed opportunity. Bringing Connie back and not Brown felt like a missed opportunity as well. I actually wanted to skip to the ending several times. I love the originals, but this had none of their magic and I probably won't ever rewatch it. See more Luis Felipe R @RT25286227 2h Rushed, shallow, and missing the heart of the originals. The romance has no real conflict, while the villain barely gets any screen time, has less presence than supporting characters and, unbelievably, doesn’t even get her own song. Absurd for the main antagonist of a musical. It gets even stranger because the highlight is Lumi’s "Play It My Way," a song that clearly feels written for a villain. Its bold, commanding attitude doesn’t match the sweet Lumi we see onscreen. It’s hard not to wonder if it belonged to the antagonist but was given to a more marketable character instead, especially with a tour already announced. The new songs lack the personality and emotional impact of the originals. Instead of building its own musical identity, the movie spends far too much time re-recording old Camp Rock songs. Camp Rock 3 relies on nostalgia instead of creating memorable moments of its own. See more Bubi_HD T @RT70339624 3h The script is written by an amateur. The dialogues are really bad and thus is the acting. I don't wanna blame the actors. With this crap of a script and dialogues you cant properly act and build your character. Judged by the unfunny jokes target audience seems to be up to 10 year olds. I'm extremely disappointed. See more Read all reviews
