The end goal of this series has now been revealed. What started as an original, compelling show about a Men’s soccer team was quickly switched in season 2 and 3 to focus on the female characters and pivot away from the sport for the most part. And now we have season 4 based on a woman’s team. Well done! You got me again, the usual bait and switch we’ve come to expect.

What a colossal disappointment! I was willing to overlook episode 1 and wait until we got back to Richmond to experience the new and beloved old characters, on home turf. But I found it toe-curlingly cringeworthy and the portrayal of feminism – at least fifty years out of date. The writing is suffering from the same condition as the women's team– it's all men in the main roles. I'm sorry guys- this just won't cut it. We have wonderful examples of women coaches like Sarina Weigman, I would have been mortified to be Hannah Waddington with the crass lines she had to deliver. All the characters seem fake and overdone. The closing image of Ted and Beard jumping up and down together, while the assistant woman coach is standing sidelined, tells us white American entitlement is still alive and kicking. I'm not going to watch anymore. Jason Sudeikis supposedly received a million dollars per episode for this sentimental triteness. I am boycotting on principle.

So far this season is meh....seems like a repeat of previous years except with a woman's team.hasnt really brought on the laughs yet..

Loved the first three seasons. This feels like it was written by a different team. Peak 2015 woke slop vibes, virtue signaling and lecturing the audience. So disappointed in this one!

Man, I missed this show. Have to admit I was concerned about this season potentially being a huge disappointment. Two episodes in, I am very happy to report I'm loving it. I'm even liking the new crazy look of coach Beard...

1st episode a slow build up, episode 2 the magic is back! If only the world was more Ted Lasso what a wonderful world it would be. Just wish each episode was longer…..
