It centers around six children from all over the world who are brought together in London to be studied by scientists because they all are extremely intelligent with telekinetic powers. They develop new machines and new weapons. They cannot be controlled by the scientists, politicians, or military and will not let themselves be destroyed. Therein lies the problem. Is their existence a benefit to all humanity. Or is there existence a danger to humanity. Stay tuned........... More than worth it for those who like their science horror more thinky than creepy and more disturbing than scary. See more 12/15/2021 Marketed as a sequel, Children of the Damned is only loosely related to the 1960 film Village of the Damned and the wonderful John Wyndham book upon which that film was based, The Midwich Cuckoos. It has an entirely different story but carries on the theme and concept from the earlier works. It's been awhile since I last watched it and it's probably full of dreadful racial stereotypes, but I think it's commendable that they tried to make this one a global tale, something of a rarity in 1963. What I remember most is the children, who were a perfect blend of vulnerability and soullessness, the epitome of the "evil child" horror trope. Well worth a watch. See more Read all reviews
