In 15th-century Transylvania, Vlad III (Luke Evans), prince of Wallachia, is known as a just ruler. With his beloved wife, Mirena (Sarah Gadon), Vlad has brokered a prolonged period of peace and ensured that his people are protected, especially from the Ottoman Empire. However, when Sultan Mehmed II (Dominic Cooper) demands 1,000 of the country's boys, including Vlad's son, for his army, Vlad makes a deal with a monster that will enable him to defeat the Turks -- but cost him his humanity.

No entiendo porque esta mal calificada esta pelicula si la trama y la actuación del protagonista es muy buena me recuerda a van hellsing un poco pero estilo señor de los anillos sinceramente es una pelicula infravalorada si estas buscando peliculas de dark fantasy esta es muy buena una de mi top 10

I think Dracula Untold is the best movie ever. Luke Evans plays Vlad not as a monster, but as the warrior-king he really was. He was a man who fought hard for his people and was always loyal to his people. The movie's supernatural parts are made up, but the character's heart feels very real. Vlad was known for fighting for his home country even when it seemed impossible. The movie focuses on that heroic side of him instead of the usual villain stereotype. That's why this version speaks to me so deeply. It shows Vlad as a protector first, someone who is motivated by duty, sacrifice, and love for his people. Evans makes that human side of the legend come out in a way that makes him feel more like the real person behind it. In that way, the movie doesn't just change Dracula; it brings back something important about who Vlad really was.

Its rewatchable and very entertaining. Yeah its a bit rushed at times but the aura and appeal of Vlad is unmistakably grand. Mirena is beautiful and did a great job acting, so did the Turk army. No way it deserves 26% from critics.

First of all, critics who have it a rotten score rather than fresh- you’re all a bunch of idiots. This movie isn’t going to win any awards but the acting and fight scenes were legit. Villain could have been a lot better but there’s no way this deserves less than a 3 or 4 out of 5. Very watchable.
