how can this movie get bad reviews. it's fun. and Charming. it's got emotion. it's got drama. it's funny. this is the actors best movie, this is a 5 star movie. Don't miss it.

While the use of biblical references may feel somewhat lazy, Evan Almighty plays more like a spin-off than a direct sequel, which may disappoint some fans of the series. Nevertheless, Steve Carell’s masterful comedic performance delivers enough entertainment to keep most audiences thoroughly amused.

Steve Carrell is so sweet and funny, Wanda Sykes is hilarious--I was laughing out loud almost constantly-- & Morgan Freeman and John Goodman are amazing as always. I'm very shocked by the low marks here, and literally created an account on Rotten Tomatoes just to leave a positive review. My family and I absolutely adored this movie!
