In a future where time is money and the wealthy can live forever, Will Salas (Justin Timberlake) is a poor man who rarely has more than a day's worth of life on his time clock. When he saves Henry Hamilton (Matt Bomer) from time thieves, Will receives the gift of a century. However, such a large transaction attracts the attention of the authorities, and when Will is falsely accused of murder, he must go on the run, taking the daughter (Amanda Seyfried) of an incredibly wealthy man with him.

A movie that could've been a big hit were it not for the lack of a budget and more sussed-out scrpt. Won't keep it but it's right on the borderline. This movie needed more money and better plot development.

The premise eventually gets boring and so does the plotline. Everything is known from the 20th minute and everything escalates way to quickly. The acting is nothing to remember also. I enjoyed the blade runner aesthetic though.

IDC what the others say, this was an entertaining movie with a cool concept with color play of the scenes and the concept of time running out. It was a sad movie but kept you on the edge of your seat. It's unlike other movies. I thought the romance was good, the setting was fabulous. It seemed like it was a mix of two eras the 1920s and maybe the 3020s?

Surprised i never saw this. This is a dystopian style film, think Logans Run, Bladerunner, Bonnie & Clyde with a dash of The Great Gatsby rolled into one. The obvious theme is the inequalities of the rich and poor and where we’re headed as a society. As other people have commented it probably even plays better today than when it was released. Yes there are script problems. I feel with a polished re-write and editing this could have been a really great film with a big cult following. It does have a low budget look to it that kind of works well and then doesn’t at times. Some of it feels like a roadrunner cartoon where the roadrunner keeps passing the same tree over and over again (in this case, it’s the 6th street bridge in Los Angeles) the entire thing feels like it was shot in one square mile. With that said, the storyline and characters are great definitely held my attention to the end. I think this a very good ‘opportunity missed’ film. Definitely worthy of a movie night!
