It's also fascinating to see the always nakedly political franchise turn its lens on American racism, and it adds a new spark that was oddly lacking from the more workmanlike Ip Man 3.

Ip Man 4: The Finale wraps up the parent series with a movie that's comparatively weak in the kung fu department but atypically solid at killing time between set pieces. The highs are lower than usual, the lows higher. It all goes down smooth.

I totally understood the racial divide some may have felt back then, the biased and lies some have told other for themselves to only believe "made me angry watching the hatefulness expressed" emulating the difficult times of acceptance a contributor to our United States of America that Asians had and continue to sacrifice Besides showing factual reality of the times it was and is a awesome movie "rest in peace Ip Man"

Totally loved the film - Donnie Yen was wonderful. Bruce Lee actor was wonderful. Young daughter was wonderful. Presentation of racism in America against Chinese was bruising - even considering the over-dramatic bad guys, there was an unavoidable & painful truth about the Asian fight for equality here. Perfect conclusion to a worthwhile, fun series on the life of the always elegant IpMan.

I loved this movie . The action was great. Donnie Yen was great in the movie. My son says I just get to excited when I see such great action movies and this one was Awesome. I loved it when he kicked that guys ass. He deserved to get beat up.
