01/23/2019 Anyone who doubts Mick Taylor's absolute brilliance and contribution to establishing the Rolling Stones as the best rock and roll band in the world should watch this movie. Maybe Mick and Keith should watch it too as a reminder. Captures well the energy and tightness of the band, and some of the best rock music ever made. Sound quality is brilliant, especially for a 1972 live recording. On the negative side, the camera work and editing leave a lot to be desired. Mick Jagger features in about 80% of the close-ups, and Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman get almost no coverage. Mick Taylor will be ripping into a great guitar solo, and the camera will be on Jagger! Overall, a great movie and an excellent reminder of the zenith of rock n' roll. See more 11/27/2010 Not a classic like the Maysles' "Gimme Shelter," this one is 'just' a concert film edited from two different performances. But for my money, this was the Stones' best tour.
