Discoverd this gem by accident one night when the cable went out. One of the funniest movies ever and a all time favorite now. I don't know how this movie wasn't a big hit. Excellent acting by an excellent cast, I highly recommend a watch.

This is one of the funniest movie I have ever seen before or since. Several of us accidentally discovered this one snowy night and we couldn't travel. So well performed by the entire cast. Mellencamp was a pleasant surprise. I can't believe this movie isn't bigger than what it is.

Plotline is something vaguely like 'guy who is going to marry his sister promises her he will look after her cousin who is a dumb criminal'. Of COURSE it is set in the South. Duh. Hijinks ensue. Bring out the cast of colorful dumb characters. The movie is predictable and dumb, but there are a few laughs in it.
