Dr. Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) becomes a pawn in the Jigsaw Killer's (Tobin Bell) latest gory game. Kidnapped and taken to an abandoned warehouse, she finds Jigsaw bedridden and dying. Her task is to keep the maniac alive long enough for Jeff (Angus Macfadyen), a fellow victim, to complete his own task. Each is unaware that Jigsaw has much bigger -- and deadlier -- plans in store.

The third movie doesn't go over the edge, but it does start to feel like John is setting his subjects up to fail, and the game shouldn't be rigged quite so hard if he really wants people to walk the path of redemption.

How can Jigsaw possibly think he or his undertaking has achieved anything with such a low success rate? He would do better by looking at the numbers, realizing he's doing more harm than good, and trying a new approach. I wish these films would do the same

My favorite in the franchise! Leaning towards the torture more than story a bit, but Saw 3 delivers much more gore and iconic traps in the saw franchise!

This movie is non-stop tension and emotionally exhausting. There is this constant sense of dread and weight that never lets up. The traps are some of the best in the whole saga, often making you "wince" more. It was definitely the pinnacle of the series before Saw X came out. I think the third act is a little confusing with all the flashbacks and jumping around, but I remained invested in what was happening.

Synopsis
