Korostyshevsky doesn't waste a lot of time getting from run-jump-shoot to duck-roll-cover and back again; the artillery decibel level isn't matched by any notable level of filmmaking craft or excitement.

While the conclusion doesn't inspire much enthusiasm, Soldiers of Fortune carries a lot further than most of its ilk, providing a small dose of entertainment in a genre that typically elicits eye-rolls and yawns.

Occasionally you run in to a film that is so egregiously awful, stupid, vapid and absurd that your brain requires some time to recover. I cannot say that this movie fulfills that criteria of badness, because after about twenty minutes I was unable to continue watching it. But I am pretty certain I would now be seeking psychiatric care if I had lasted the entire abortion-of-cinema. And to think Rhames, Cromwell and Slater once had careers.

Whilst not exactly an A List cast, we have some quite well known people starring in this piece. Dd they all just buy new cars or something? Predictable story, predictable action scenes and the standard types of characters. If you're really bored, you might enjoy this one.
