The problem is that this brand of comedy doesn’t really work for me. I tend to watch this kind of humor and think, "This is stupid," rather than actually laugh. Super Troopers does exactly what it sets out to do. The cast is ridiculous, but intentionally so. Every character is exaggerated, and the actors fully commit to the absurdity. I didn’t find it particularly funny, but I understand why others do. Overall, it’s not something I’ll rush to rewatch, but I wouldn’t call it bad. Super Troopers knows exactly how stupid it wants to be. For me, it was more "that’s stupid" than "that’s hilarious," but it still delivers what it was designed to deliver. See more Yash B @yashbansal Jul 30 I was interested in "Super Troopers" because it's always had a cult following status, as well as a third movie's trailer playing recently. This movie is exactly what I'd expect from a silly early 2000s comedy. The movie is full of goofy moments, and as long as you're willing to meet it where it's at, it can be a fun time. I even found the characters more endearing than expected by the end of it. That being said, this movie is fairly thin on story and is really just made for laughs. Overall, it is a good time that I feel could have been more enjoyable if I watched it with friends, but it does deliver a vibe that feels nostalgic, light, and fun enough. See more Read all reviews
