Five friends set out on one last adventure along Thailand's stunning coast, eager for a final thrill before life in the real world begins. They sign up for a guided swim through a remote cave system known as The Devil's Mouth, a natural wonder that's as breathtaking as it is unforgiving. Deep inside the labyrinth of narrow waterways, their journey takes a terrifying turn when they discover that a freak storm the week before flooded the caves with sea life. The creatures died in the fresh water, but something survived... and it's hunting them now--fast, silent, and deadly. Every corridor they round is overflowing with anxiety, and every wrong turn becomes a deadly encounter. As panic spreads and their sense of direction slips away, the group begins to fracture. Trust erodes, fear takes over, and survival becomes a savage game. In the suffocating darkness, every choice could be their last as they learn that to make it out alive, sacrifices must be made.

It’s been hyped as the first fresh-water shark movie. Sad to say, that’s the only thing fresh about it. Go to Full Review

It’s just aggressively forgettable instead of memorably awful, which is almost worse. Go to Full Review
Guy Lodge Variety Jul 30
It’s the shark’s appearances, surprisingly, that lack bite. Denied a point of view or much in the way of a closeup, the CG killer never feels a particularly distinctive or palpable presence, while its lunges take on a fairly predictable pattern. Go to Full Review

Has the ingredients for a decent survival thriller but almost none of them are developed particularly well. Go to Full Review

This film combines the suspense and gore of shark attacks, the light drama of college-aged relationships, and the draw of a beautiful foreign locale. Go to Full Review

Joshua C @RT66096979 1h Holy mother of bad movies! Paper-thin plot with a cast of carbon-copy twenty-somethings on holiday, going cave diving with what has to be one of the worst CGI-rendered bull sharks ever put on screen. One baffling decision follows another, with the survival instincts of a group of manically depressed lemmings. The characters seem determined to outdo each other in making the worst possible choices, the dialogue is painfully generic, and any attempt at building suspense is drowned out by predictable jump scares and laughable special effects. Devil’s Mouth somehow manages to make sharks, underwater caves, and claustrophobia feel boring. Save yourself the time and watch literally anything else. See more DT T @RT43973646 3h So, its a movie set in a cave, with half a dozen small torches... you literally stare at a black screen for an hour an half and listen to annoying people rant and scream at what is apparently a shark. See more Ricardo D @RT43154676 18h A group of shallow, annoying young people who argue about everything decide to go to a place where they could die. The fact that they left one of their friends behind at the start should have been a lesson for her to ditch this toxic group—but no. The lack of professionalism shown by the person in charge of the first outing is repeated during the second, as he flees and leaves them to fight the shark. Forgettable; the most insufferable character is the Japanese woman who wanted to boss everyone and everything around. See more Krystal M @RT5678904221633 23h I would recommend to people who like this genre. Nothing groundbreaking about it, but it's different and fun. See more Amber H @8Amber 1d I'm shocked of how bad this movie is. Script was terrible, acting was bland, CGI was so bad they could have gotten a plastic shark and it would have been more believable. Whoever thought of this needs to reconsider everything. There were so many inconsistencies throughout the movie: the size of the shark, the location of the characters, their bloody flippers just appearing and disappearing from their feet! Some plot points were utterly useless, for example their parents being dead. Their acting was so lacklustre I believed they were apathetic about their friends dying right in front of them. And worst of all, why give the main character a knife if its only use was to stick into a bloody rock? See more Jerod S @jeroduptown 2d When she's getting surrounded by jellyfish, I thought it would be a great, tense movie. But then they transitioned to a bad cave set and a terrible shark and it...sunk. See more Read all reviews
