Good message against excessive screen use and rogue AI, but franchise still needs more diversity, even though it introduced a Black girl as one of the main human characters. The toys are voiced by almost entirely white actors. Also, Toy Story keeps focusing on middle-class suburban life. Sesame Street-style city kids and poor kids and (criticism of) richie-rich kids don’t seem to exist in its universe.
