Born on March 7, 1993 in Long Island, N.Y., Sarah Sherman, also known professionally as Sarah Squirm, is an American comedian, actor, artist and producer. Sherman is known for her unusual and surreal body-horror comedy style. After graduating Northwestern University in 2014, Sherman began performing under her stage name which was inspired by a high school nickname. In 2018, Sherman made her television debut in an Adult Swim infomercial titled "Flayaway." In 2019, Sherman opened for Eric Andre's national tour. Besides being a stand-up performer, Sherman is also a creative consultant and writer. She wrote for "Magic for Humans" (2019-20). In "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah" (2023), Sarah Sherman stars as Rabbi Rebecca.
