Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller and his team of inspectors are on a mission in 2003 to find Iraq's reported stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction. With Greengrass at the helm, deploying his trademark, Bourne-style shaky camerawork and rapid-fire cutting, Green Zone is as fast-paced as you'd expect, but the uneasy mix of fact and fiction ultimately works against the film.

"Green Zone" isn't a bad movie, but it feels painfully okay, considering the talent involved. Paul Greengrass made this movie following the Bourne trilogy, and I could only imagine how disappointing that was in 2010. I still think there is a lot to like. His shaky cam style brings tension to the action scenes, and I think Matt Damon is also really good here. I just feel like there are so many better war movies than this one, and this one fails to stand out. Overall, I think it is fine, but it is not likely a film I would revisit any time, and I think it is only worth a one-time watch.

This movie is a decent, gripping, FICTIONAL war movie. People trying to profess that it is a factual representation of what happened, should read CWO Monty Gonzalez's thoughts on the matter, as he worked with the project; and the Matt Damon character was "based on him and the men he fought with. FICTION. That is what my review is based on.

An alright movie about the lies about the WMD's that were never in Iraq that President Bush used to launch a war in the Middle East as an excuse to get oil. Matt Damon and Brendan Gleeson are fantastic. Paul Greengrass' direction is all over the place. There's shaky camerawork, choppy editing, opaque writing, and too many side characters that add nothing. It's a real mixed bag.

Underrated sort of was thriller. It’s really about a lone soldier coming across a conspiracy which he goes against to save lives. Which is done a lot. This movie deserves more credit for not being your typical Iraq was film
