Montse is thrilled about the weekend she gets to spend with the whole family at her house on the Costa Brava. Her divorce was long ago, her ex has a new partner, and her children are all grown up with lives of their own. No one pays much attention to her. But nothing and no one will put a damper on her excitement. She's been dreaming of this moment for too long. The weekend will be perfect... even if she has to burn everything to the ground to make it so.

Jaume E @RT39615186 Jul 2, 2025 Very shocking film with moments of almost terror due to the distressing events. Nobody gets saved, Nobody? We'll see. It makes you always alert and attentive to all the details because no one is predictable. After watching the film you have a great opportunity to discuss it. See more Grayson S @Gs8628 Mar 30, 2025 Unique story and concept with a great cast and incredible acting. See more Graeme W @Graeme1119 Mar 23, 2025 A really funny film also suspenseful and tragic. The ‘sciatica’ scene, the condom scene and the skydiving scene are hilarious. I expect this will be remade in English to reach a bigger audience See more Marco L @decatur555 Jan 30, 2025 This is a sharp, twisted mix of black comedy and family drama in which chaos becomes the real protagonist. Dani de la Orden handles a script full of unexpected turns with precision, and the cast is at its best, led by a magnificent Emma Vilarasau who could hold the film up with her presence alone. The staging is elegant and measured, and the plot grows more tangled as it goes, without losing its ironic, biting tone. The dialogue is sharp, the interplay between characters builds constant tension, and the humor is smart. It never underestimates the viewer. At times the script takes breaths that dilute some of its early impact, but it recovers strongly thanks to its actors. It recalls the great family farces, only much darker and more corrosive. It knows what it wants to say and says it with style and personality. A top-level entertainment that leaves a mark. See more Read all reviews
