And it would have been fine if he experienced some personal growth where he learned that women have value beyond being a sex doll because of his experience with this robot, but no. He's a sex pest who feels entitled to sex on demand and the movie seems to endorse this world view. He wants her to be a real girl, so long as her sole interest is to have sex on demand...
