With this sequel, I never managed to be truly interested or invested in the characters. In fact, I was bored and found it way too long despite an active runtime of just around an hour and a half. Go to Full Review

...Apocalypse Z: New World expands its scale with larger hordes of zombies and greater technical complexity, thanks to its masterful practical effects and the use of multiple camera crews and drones. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Tiago S @RT11661119 1 hr ago Spaniards, you can take the mantle! A zombie survival movie seen through the eyes of the survivors, army, and conscripts, with a story well delivered, giving you a spotless sense of the world's state during the period of this chapter. The underlying tone is one of Hope and Trust. I found the acting was very spot on; characters with a few lines establish themselves and their motives/drive really well; their nuances are really satisfying to grasp in a fast paced action/survival driven experience with a really good sense of squad maneuverability. The tension in the action sequences against the massive groups of zombies is palpable; I found myself gripping my armchair and raising the question, "How the heck are you going to get out of this situation?" When it ended, I wanted more, so hoping to see another sequel and story in the not-too-far future If you are no stranger to the genre and want a really cool zombie movie to watch, this is it. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 4 hrs ago Apocalypse Z: New World may be a foreign film, but I was fully engaged from beginning to end. This is a well-done military zombie movie that never feels cheesy or corny. The story keeps moving, stays focused, and gives the suspense room to build. I loved the casting and wanted to see what happened next. The dubbing was a big surprise. The voice actors captured the inflections, pauses, and breathless reactions that made the suspense feel genuine. That is often where foreign films lose me. The voices can feel disconnected from the performances and drain the excitement out of a scene. Here, they pulled it off. The screenplay was strong, and the performances kept me invested. I honestly do not care whether critics agree with me. Filmmaking is about giving audiences an experience they enjoy, and this one delivered. Apocalypse Z: New World is entertaining, well-acted, and worth watching. I recommend it on Amazon Prime, especially if you enjoy military action mixed with zombie horror. But at least we got another zombie movie for Halloween, just think of it as another story in the same Manel Universe See more Read all reviews
