VITALII H @freakynickison Feb 21 It felt like an extended Euphoria episode. Directing, the soundtrack, stylistic choices, Maude Apatow… At the very end I found out that it was directed and written by Sam Levinson, creator of Euphoria. It doesn’t hold a candle to that show. It got unnecessary violent for no reason. I mean there was a reason but it wasn’t justified, it was too much. What also felt unreasonable and unrealistic was the fact that all of the sudden everyone was shooting like a pro. The scene where Bex was about to do revenge was very unmemorable, it could’ve been a more powerful scene. It’s far from perfect but I would say that’s it’s worth a watch for entertainment purposes. Absolute chaos at a near apocalyptic scale breaks out against a small group of women who may or may not deserve some slender, but of course, humankind finds a way to take it way over the top. This flick seems like the Social Media apocalypse told exactly as it would happen. See more w1sh r 02/08/2025 The first 20-25 minutes were excruciatingly drab; the cinematic equivalent of licking sandpaper. It wasn’t until the 60-minute mark that the film finally awoke from its narrative slumber and remembered it had a story to tell -much like a hamster who, after an hour of aimless wheel-spinning, suddenly realizes there's an entire cage to explore. A cage full of hamster feces and ditzy acting. That being said, highly recommended viewing.
