See more Felina 06/17/2023 This movie had a lot of potential to be a really great movie. I liked to idea and concept of, if you don't follow through, your past will haunt you. My problems with this movie though are, there is very little to almost no character development and you're left with so many questions at the end. It started to get better and kind of make sense towards the end until all of a sudden it didn't. I exact words at the end were, "Wait, what?" Again, I really liked the concept. I feel like they should remake this movie and this time build up the characters more and their background and explain the curse and the curse's history more. It was a good B movie lots of jumps and corny quotes. No real plot. See more 12/07/2020 I will most definitely agree that at the beginning you think the kids are foster kids or adopted. Then when you realize the couple is married and that is their children it is way more than dysfunctional. The dad wants to believe only in the Bible, the mom apparently likes to smoke and drink and don't want to be at home, daughter is a rebel and son is in tune with the weird crap and no one believes him till its almost to the end of the movie. This movie got really good towards the very end which is sad. It had some parts that could of been left out and started the scarey much sooner. **SLIGHT SPOILER** I would like to know why their son has a bed on the floor, when his sister or they don't and when they go to check on him, they never question the wallpaper of weird drawings of death when the walls and floor is littered with these drawings. Is that normal? lol. The end was abrupt and made it look like a Part 2 would happen. I sure hope not. See more Read all reviews
