Goyette takes a simple premise and then tightens the screws. He interjects the darkest of humor and spends time on making his characters more than caricatures. Go to Full Review

It’s still an undeniably strong debut, maybe not the best in show for the genre this year, but promising enough that its filmmaker could one day claim that title. Go to Full Review

Breeder is crafty, and far more wily than the premise might lead one to believe. Go to Full Review

Although Breeder leaves us with no one to root for, its story logic makes some leaps, and its script could be tighter, the experience is too compelling and well-presented to disregard for its few flaws. Go to Full Review

TookiWababa 14 hrs ago Worth the watch and concept was interesting but the pacing was so off but overall enjoyable See more Brian S 18 hrs ago This film had a tone that held my attention. The characters were mysterious and yet I found myself wanting to learn more. Definitely a thriller with hints of fear. See more Phillip 18 hrs ago Dot Marie Jones is a force to be reckoned with in Breeder. Alternating between a doting dog breeder and an iron fisted mother, Jones proves why she’s a household name. Daniel Doheny is a solid standout alongside Maddie Phillips. The acting is solid, it is the writing that could have used some work. Overall, a lot of comedic moments, but there were less scares and more suspense. The plot diverges too many times in dead end details, ending up feeling rushed yet too long also. But ultimately, this is a great addition to the horror genre and should have been given more attention in its theatrical release. See more Malek 1 day ago Saw the trailer for this one not too long ago and I was hyped, it’s refreshing seeing new unique indie movies coming to cinema. Very original plot and overall good watch. This horror movie didn’t have to rely on jump scares or anything cheap at all, it just builds this creepy world around Russel. By far one of the most underrated watches of the year.
