It helps to have a pair of leads who commit to the immediacy of their characters, never winking at the camera like lesser performers would with a script that’s this fundamentally insane. Go to Full Review

Caddo Lake may not be for everyone, but it’s definitely a conversation starter. It’s the kind of film you’ll want to discuss afterward, trying to figure out how all the pieces fit—or if they even fit at all. It’s messy, confusing, and at times brilliant. Go to Full Review

Marco L @decatur555 Oct 22, 2026 A well-built, atmospheric mystery thriller that becomes much better once its temporal and family puzzle starts to fit together. At first, Paris, Ellie, the lake, the disappearances and the dates feel fragmented, but the film is quietly planting connections. The way the pieces finally reorder everything is satisfying, turning the story into a strange family paradox rather than just another weird-lake mystery. Dylan O'Brien gives Paris a tragic frustration, because he knows what he saw is real but has no way to explain it, while Eliza Scanlen's Ellie gains strength as she begins to understand the truth and act on it. The Caddo Lake setting gives the film a humid, isolated atmosphere, and the Shyamalan touch is felt in the hidden information and emotional twist. Not perfect, and sometimes more mechanism than character, but intelligent, satisfying and worth watching. A clear recommendation. See more Meaghan S @RT78525008 Oct 15, 2026 I love this one, I love movies that make my brain work and this one did, even afterwards. I do wish there would’ve been a little more explanation about when their “true” timelines started, but I understand it’s a loop so where does it start and where does it end? Honestly wish it would’ve been longer, would have loved to have seen a little bit of Paris’s mom’s traveling POV, I think it would’ve answered questions. See more Beans M @BeansMcGee Oct 10, 2026 Had no idea what to expect and started it without even reading the summary of the plot. It's labeled as a drama/horror but the movie is absolutely sci-fi and I LOVED it. See more Alexis P @RT95453944 Sep 28, 2026 Interesting concept and enjoyable movie.
