The fatal flaw lies in the fact that the Devil, especially when personified by a talented and handsome actor like End of Days's Gabriel Byrne, is actually much more compelling and personable than the hero.

Greetings from Lithuania. I've always enjoyed "End of Days" (1999) since i was a teenager and saw it back in 1999. I've watched quite a lot back then, it was one of those good and atmospheric horror action hybrids and it was very unique for that. Directed by Peter Hyams this is a dark and moody film that has excellent performance by Gabriel Byrne and pretty good job by Arnie. Special effects were very solid and i like the pretty touching ending. Again, this film shouldn't be taken very seriously but as a action, horror thriller it does work for me. Overall, "End of Days" is an entertaining horror, thriller action hybrid. At running time nearly 2 hours i'm always entertained by it. It has great sets, dark and moody atmosphere and it never gets boring.

Saw this when I was a kid twice in theaters . Loved it , still do. This movie beat all action horror films. And I wish Schwarzenegger would've made more horror action films, he's good at it.

I rather enjoyed this millennial thriller action horror combination. Arnold Schwarzenegger does a decent job at play a cop who's battling his own demons and some real demons. The special effects still hold up to this day. The story sometimes wobbles a little but all in all it's a good nice popcorn movie with a strong cast. Visually stunning. I especially enjoyed the subway scene.
