Rough and uneven, Generational Sins is not the sort of film that will be passed along from father to son. It is, however, an adequate vehicle for MacPherson to demonstrate what he's capable of, and that's worth watching.

I thought that it was good. I originally watched it because I saw it was filmed where I was born and spent my summers. The movie made me think of my hubby, he also had a childhood like that and through God, him and his dad became close. I loved the ending so much, except the brother and Evelyn breaking up, but I totally understand that, his arrogance is an acquired taste. I love Clearfield. It was great seeing familiar places, and them choosing there to live.

It probably meant well but hell it was dull and almost completely meaningless. Who would want to make a movie about this plot now anyway? I didn't like the cast or the performances as well. Boring ass movie, I'm glad it was short.
