A joyous spectre-cal that welcomes newbies and takes surprising turns yet still offers a hug to fans. Let’s hope a sequel makes itself known. Go to Full Review

We are in the realms of a Jumanji-style body-swap comedy, although in many scenes the actors who play the ghosts portray the characters they possess... Some have found that confusing but it worked for me and has obvious comedy value. Go to Full Review

See more Snikkers_87 S @Snikkers_87 15 hrs ago LIFE CHANGING. the plot is amazing, and if you haven’t watched the series you would still get it. if you have watched the series you’re gonna love it even more! it doesn’t feel like a long episode. the pacing is just right and i’d definitely recommend! See more Benjamin W @Shortclaws 1 day ago One of the funniest family films of the year! With gags for all ages leaving the whole cinema laughing their heads off throughout. The film was in keeping with the original tv show and didn't at all hold back on references to it! My only thoughts were that as a longtime fan of the tv show, some of the ghosts acted in ways that felt slightly out of character, this was particularly noticeable with kitty and a small amount with lady button. This may just be because of the change in pacing that needs to happen with a feature film. Enjoyed it all the way through though! The film is a brilliant British comedy! See more AJ F @RT27616835 1 day ago What I loved most about this film was that it really did feel like no time had passed between the series and this film. Typically, you can always tell when there’s been a long pause between the last release and a new one because something just feels off and different and makes you think “it doesn’t have the same vibe as the series”, however, I didn’t think that at all watching this movie. The original comedy style of the series perfectly transferred into the film and resulted in a pretty funny film that created a symphony of laughs in the cinema. The story and writing were well done and it was really nice to see all of the original cast back! See more Sion E @RT08664178 1 day ago Absolutely brilliant, an excellent plot and my family were in stitches from the beginning! See more Andrew A @RT17334869 1 day ago TV adaptations are often hugely dissapointing, not this one though, true to the original, yet offering new twists and angles. A real feelgood movie.
