Set in an isolated, beautiful village steeped in history, HER SONG is a playful, surprising meditation on creativity, inheritance, and belonging. Executive produced by the legendary James Ivory and starring Kalki Koechlin and Eléa Clair, John M. Keller's sparkling comedy explores how the stories we tell are shaped as much by coincidence as by choice--and how listening closely can change everything.

In the end, John M. Keller’s Her Song reminds us that we all used to like one another and that friendship comes when we are truly interested in another person’s life. Even if it’s just for a book, it’s still a start. Go to Full Review

Stan R @StanRuszk Oct 25, 2026 This is a great feel good movie in the heart of France. If you want to travel in a small genuine village in France, go watch this movie :) See more Jeff C @RT96943402 Oct 21, 2026 This was an enjoyable and thought provoking low-key movie. Set during peak COVID in a tiny village in the beautiful French Pyrenees, it covers the personal stories of a small set of locals interacting with outsiders coming to shelter in place. Parallels are drawn between the present time and other times of social stress (WW2) while the distinction between recorded (and digested) history and lived moments (which will become history) is explored. The characters are all likable and interesting in their different ways, and I'd watch it again. The stone lanes and mountain views are more than scenery, and the superb cast makes the whole community feel real. It's funny and moving in equal measure, and I laughed out loud at many of the scenes. A real treat! See more Stephen C @dogfood23111 Oct 17, 2026 Funny in 01 hour, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds.
