As rioting rocks Los Angeles in the year 2028, disgruntled thieves make their way to Hotel Artemis -- a 13-story, members-only hospital for criminals. It's operated by the Nurse, a no-nonsense, high-tech healer who already has her hands full of a French assassin, an arms dealer and an injured cop. As the violence of the night continues, the Nurse must decide whether to break her own rules and confront what she's worked so hard to avoid.

Hotel Artemis has a few flashes of wit and an intriguing cast, but mostly it's just a serviceable chunk of slightly futuristic violence -- which might be all its audience is looking for.

Hotel Artemis feels like a rough folly that's been trimmed down to the bare bones by a disappointed studio. It feels like a spin-off from an imaginary larger franchise. It feels like an adaptation of a cult comic you're never going to read.

The fight scenes aren’t particularly well-choreographed, the deaths are relatively uninspired and there’s an overall lack of flashiness that was badly needed to distract from the underwhelming plot.

A waste of the acting talent on such a poor film. A good beginning quickly dives into absolute thrash. The last 40 minutes are just complete chaos. I just did not care which character survived.

Ok but not amazing. Basically a B-grade John Wick style movie set in a hotel that caters exclusively to criminals. Interesting concept but poorly executed. Like most B-grade movies, the writing sucked. Mildly entertaining, will do in a pinch if you can't find anything better to watch.

A concept worth investing in with a great ensemble cast. The near-future setting is well established with a great look to the filming & set design. Yet nothing terribly exciting happens as the whole screenplay falls very flat.
