TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Oct 13, 2026 Kill Will started out well and grabbed my attention. When a civilian became involved, I thought the story was heading somewhere interesting. I wanted to see how that would change the film. Unfortunately, the early promise did not last, and the movie lost the momentum that made the opening engaging. The screenplay seemed to lose its energy as the story continued. What began as a compelling setup became dry, boring, and difficult to care about. The film dropped the ball by failing to build on its ideas, and it never recovered the tension or direction I expected. The acting was fine, but the rest felt off. Nothing that followed was compelling enough to keep me invested. Ultimately, Kill Will is a movie where the first half is more worthwhile than the full experience. I would watch the opening and turn it off, because the story gives me little reason to stay for the ending. When a film loses its appeal this quickly, the outcome no longer feels worth waiting for.
