In my opinion this is the second best Steven Spielberg film only behind Jaws I don’t care what my Cold War and US history teacher Harry Cooper says this is the best Civil War film not Glory

The music is affecting and the diologue is poetry. A pretty movie to look at. All history has bias embedded in it, but this feels like a fair portrayal of the parties and sentiments involved in the abolition of slavery in the US. I loved it. I think it goes from a 9 to a 10 for me if the scenes with Joseph Gordon Levitt are complete cut.
