Jasmine @JasmineKnowsBall Jan 6 It's a campy christian film! If you can look past the gender role reinforcement, I would recommend. Honestly it's a cleaner, less crude version of Bad Moms that still holds room to be funny (albeit even if your laughing at how bad it is). Don't worry, there's still inspirational Pinterest quotes, life lessons and heartwarming moments throughout the film that once again remind you that this is a anglo christian gem. While there are some flaws in the movie that are quite hard to forgive (acting choices, pacing, etc), its only an hour and a half. The perfect movie for when you're bored and in the mood for a cheesy flick. See more Bailey B. @baileybeckmoviebuff Dec 6 this movie was SO entertaining the script & acting was great. such a relatable movie for traditional families. it touched every genre with comedy, action, depth! i love the message about Jesus and his love. i appreciate that they didn’t portray him in a hokey religious way but in a real human, relationship w God way. i cried, i laughed, i was on the edge of my seat of what would happen next! SUCH A GOOD WATCH, and i want more movies with these writers!! UPDATE: i looked into the writers & it’s the ‘Erwin Brothers’ they’ve also wrote/directed ‘I can only imagine’ & ‘Jesus Revolution’ both movies that i LOVE & are so well executed w great casting. it checks out! their talent is amazing. that’s a gift from God right there 🤍 See more Evgeny V. Perfect for a mom movie night as well, the thought process of moms and juggling the anxiety of leaving our children alone came out chaotic yet fulfilling. Good husband, great kids, financially stable, great neighborhood, good schools. Everything you could possibly want. But yet the wife is unhappy.
