When God decides that mankind has become too sinful and must be wiped off the Earth, he chooses Noah (Russell Crowe), a pious man, for a great task. Noah must build an ark large enough to hold his wife (Jennifer Connelly), adopted daughter (Emma Watson), sons (Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Leo McHugh Carroll) and their wives -- plus breeding pairs of every animal. When the task is completed, Noah and his family witness God's wrath in the form of an apocalyptic flood.

The CGI animals are spectacular, the battles less so and, though none of it really makes sense, neither, some might argue, does the Bible. Go to Full Review

It's as odd and schizophrenic a picture as you're likely to see in the focus-grouped, play-it-safe moviemaking climate of the moment, and the fact that it exists at all is sort of a (ha ha) miracle. Go to Full Review

As Aronofsky tries to make sense of an emotional parable, often achieving such in stunning visual terms, 'Noah' is a messy, disaster epic that works as a character study and red-blooded fantasy both. Go to Full Review

Noah plays way too loose with the text to be a satisfying film, no matter how hard it tries. Go to Full Review

The film questions a creator’s obligations at earthly and spiritual levels, with complications that concern masculine privilege to color the margins. "Noah" doesn’t preach to the choir. It dares the choir to keep up amid minor chords & melodic inversion. Go to Full Review

Jacob W @RT17896586 2 days ago This film demonstrates why Crowe is such a fantastic actor and like with other actors shows that when he commits to a role he gives it everything. This is an epic masterpiece on a great scale. The film is really entertaining and enjoyable. While it may not have had the coverage it should have had I believe that this movie is on the same level as films that have been before like Ben Hur. A real masterpiece and well worth watching great cast Epic storytelling See more Ashley C @RT97084574 3 days ago If you care about biblical accuracy, then this movie will irritate you to no end. If you don’t care about accuracy, it’s still not very good. They turned Noah into a half deranged maniac who doesn’t care about innocent life. Apparently they were on the Ark long enough for Emma Watson to get through an entire pregnancy (despite her character not being married to Noah’s son), but not long enough for her acting to improve. The rock guys were fun. It was visually appealing. But the random plot divergences, over the top acting, the dramatic and unrealistic character arc, and the odd clothing choices took away any cohesion it could have had. I’m sure God was most displeased with this abomination. See more Aatiqa T @RT15399358 Jul 25, 2026 This movie is highly inaccurate and deeply disappointing, If you are looking for an accurate, respectful, and faithful depiction of Prophet Noah Instead of showing Prophet Noah’s true character,,his 950 years of patient preaching, deep compassion, and divine wisdom, the film incorrectly portrays him as a negative character unfortunately, who even threatens his own family. It replaces core spiritual themes of faith and idolatry and introduces bizarre, non-scriptural elements. See more Murray R @RT94535776 Jun 25, 2026 A Noah horror film!
