The beginning of the movie started strong and had potential then the middle of the movie fell flat and the story felt more like filler rather than intentional. I understand this is classified as a musical but to have a song every other breath is redundant and annoying. Animation CG was amazing but is irrelevant if the story isn’t felt. Kid friendly but pointless to show them unless you want to just kill time. It tries to get through entire sequences with absolutely no story other than swirling colours and 'oooh magic' to the point that obstacles are entirely arbritrary and the story pointless.
